I created this site as a fun way to document the search for my first apartment, moving into it and the decorating (from scratch!) process. I've come across a few blogs that I enjoy checking into and hope that this becomes one people who have a passion for interior design and decorating enjoy checking into as well. 1. What do you like most about your home?
   
   
   
2. How would you describe your style?
   It's modern but NOT minimal, ethnic, chic...with a touch of sexy and glamour. Its also a bit ecclectic in that I like things from different eras and things that don't necessarily go together (in thought) but somehow work. And I love natural materilas like wood. I'd take wood over metal any day.
   
   
3. Do you have a favourite colour scheme?
   Right now I'm really liking rich neutrals like chocolate brown, gray and cream with a hit of hot pink and mustard yellow.
   
   
4. Do you collect anything?
   Shot glasses from places I visit and friends visit. Hahaha. Not the most glam things to display but I like 'em.
   
   
5. What's your idea of the perfect getaway?
   Going somewhere with a rich history, amazing old architecture & structures, fab museums and amazing food. Throw in somewhere nice to relax like a beach (even though I'm not a water person) and I'm all good.
   
   
6. What country or colour inspires you right now?
   
   
   
7. Do you have a current obsession?
   I've been obsessed with Egypt for as long as I can remember. My current obsession is finding the perfect pieces for my apartment (to be).
   
   
8. Whose personal style do you most admire?
   I love that Halle Berry always looks flawless, put together and perfect for the occassion. She has amazing style; totally chic totally timeless. I also like Cameron Diaz' style - she always manages to throw in something quirky or colourful that totally reflect herself. She seems like fun.
   
   
9. What is your idea of the perfect night out?
   More like the perfect night in. A good book, something good on TV and some ice cream...
   
   
10. What is the best give you've ever received?

11. Name three people you'd love to have at a dinner party.

12. What is your definition of beauty?
    I love architect Daniel Libeskind's answer to this question - I'll copy him. "I feel that beauty isn't always definable, but it is always luminous - and not just physically. Beauty can be physical or it can be an idea: it is anything that illuminates something else. Beauty radiates." I agree 100%
    
    
13. What one item couldn't you live without at home?
    A phone. No wait, a television.
    
    
14. Finish this sentence: I feel most comfortable when...
    I'm clean, my surrondings are clean and I have nothing to do - no stress - just relaxation.

16. What makes you get out of bed in the morning?
    My cellphone - it has an alarm :)
