Hi & welcome everyone! Everyone seems to have a blog about something or another - some I quite enjoy - so I decided to start my own. I've actually had the site address for a few years and every couple of months change my mind about what I want to actually post on the site. But I've finally decided I'll keep a blog about the trials and tribulations of finding my first apartment...and then decorating it. A bit about me: I've been officially out of college for just about 2 years now. I work in entertainment PR which I quite enjoy - I actually landed my dream job right out of school so I consider myself lucky to enjoy what I do. I've got a handful of younger brothers between the ages of 4 (yes 4!) and 15. I also have an older sister who I'm sure you'll hear much more about as she gives me amazing hand me downs for my 'apartment to be'. I love to read and travel - those are 2 of my biggest passions (and I'm sure will influence the décor of my space) although I don't get to travel half as much as I'd like. I also like to take photographs but find that I need to make more time for this hobby. Of course I occasionally like heading to the club with my girlz and like everyone I love going to the movies. Now back to the site. This blog will basically be a place where I document finding my first home away from home. I still live at home and while it's been great - I feel like its time to move out. Not for any one particular reason but - it just feels like time. Living at home has allowed me to pay off my debts, amass a healthy savings...and to eat home cooked meals everyday (can't complain about that can you?). And hopefully once this blog gets a 'following' (if it gets a following) I'll get some opinions and feedback. So until the first 'real' entry - ciao!
